Wealth of Wisdom: Top 50 Questions Wealthy Families Ask
Starting this month, I will be sending a weekly email: 50 Questions Wealthy Families Ask. This project is designed to spur conversation, offer an introduction to my practice and hopefully help people understand their relationship with wealth a little better. I will also be posting to my socials and blog on www.ClarkWealthPlanning.com/Blog
Here is the plan. I will send a question with some adjoining information that is designed to provoke thought and conversation. This is not “How do I buy the next hot stock?” but a more real and honest discussion about wealth and the effect it can have on your family. Some questions will be more “rubber hits the road” but many will be inspirational in nature.
My hope with this project is that it creates a space to have more intimate conversations with your family and friends, creating value that frankly I do not see much of in today’s environment. Also, I highly encourage you to forward these questions, when appropriate, to your friends, family and colleagues as an introduction to my practice. I am thrilled when I received an introduction from my current clients, it showed me that there is value in my practice, and I certainly appreciate that.
A couple more points about this project.
I realize that AI is a powerful force in the world and only growing. And although I have gotten a lot of advice on using AI for this project, I am rejecting that advice. This is important to me, and therefore it is important to me to do this personally. Yes, it would be easy to set this on autopilot asking Perplexity (I did this) to summarize the chapters and create and email, but easy isn’t always right, and something worth doing is worth doing right. So, I will be writing these personally without the help of AI. Strange that I have to say that, but in these times…
Lastly, the inspiration for this project came from reading “Wealth of Wisdom, The Top 50 Questions Wealthy Families Ask, written by Tom McCullough and Keith Whitaker, when I was studying for my CPWA. I will derive much of this information from that book and will supplant my personal experiences of 20 years working with people and their money where appropriate.
I am very excited! I hope you gain some value from this experiment. Please send me any feedback you have.
